Description
While in the planning stages for Air, Earth, Fire and Water I worked on a couple of smaller pieces experimenting with palette knife and heavy paint application in my attempt to capture the rugged texture of the desert canyons. While I did not carry this technique into the larger triptych, the smaller paintings became favorites of people who viewed them.
