One of the ‘want to do’s’ that has been on my list for some time is exploration of Zen Tangles. So I decided to combine it with my new attempt at journaling this year. I’m using the library found at tangles.com to help me get started. As I mentioned yesterday, I have prepared my own tangle tiles from 110 lb card stock that I had on hand. I’ve never spent much time with paper-based arts but obviously have had a hankering to do so – I’ve got the supplies on hand! In the past I’ve been unsuccessful in remaining faithful to my journaling efforts. I did manage one NaNo challenge! Part of the problem arises when I ‘get lost’ in the journal pages and spent too much time doing them and part arises from frustration with bound journal pages. So I’m trying a new approach.
